Convenient domain management using EPNIC
EPNIC is EPAG’s convenient platform for fully automated domain registration
and management.
EPNIC has been developed by EPAG in 2000 and has been constantly improved and optimized in-house since then.
The needs and requirements of our resellers constitute a key input in this process. Realtime registration
through direct access to the most important domain registries worldwide is as
important as a reliable automated processing of domain orders.
Available interfaces / API
EPNIC makes domain management a lot more efficient! Depending on the desired level of automation, you can choose between a web-based user interface, a proven e-mail gateway or online API capable of realtime transactions:
- E-mail API (SMTP) - easy-to-use key-value format; rapid order processing
- Realtime API (TCP/IP, SSL) - for secure synchronus transactions
- Web interface - convenient domain transaction via web browser
- External plug-ins available (DomiNIC®, Parallels PEM/PBA, WEBFAKT)

Available transactions
Using EPNIC, you may submit and execute almost all transactions needed to manage domain
names. More than 280 top-level domains are available through a single ordering interface.
EPNIC allows the following transactions:
- Register new domains
- Transfer existing domains to EPAG
- Update domain, change domain owner, change domain status
- Delete instantly or upon expire date
- Active domain renewal (auto-renewal is default)
- Queue / pre-registrations (if available)
- Query domain data incl. authcode
- Create, update and query contact handles
- Accept / deny outbound transfers
A comprehensive and detailed documentation in PDF format eases implementation of EPNIC at customer side. Documentation is available after closing the contract.
